Planning Differentiated Breakout Rooms Lessons

Sharing with you practical ways to plan a tiered learning objective lesson and gifting you with a free lesson template download! This is part two of my five-part video series on differentiated breakout rooms.

In this video, I want to share with you a FREE downloadable lesson plan template that is fully editable to help you get started breaking down your content to help ALL learners access it at their own pace at the right time by tiering your learning objectives. You can download the template by clicking the link to my blog in the description below and clicking the button that says “Download Lesson Planning Guide.”

Before we jump in if you haven’t seen the first video of this series, where we talked about the foundations for tiered learning objectives: Bloom’s Taxonomy and SOLO taxonomy. You can find that on my channel and be sure to like, comment, and subscribe to my YouTube channel to stay up to date on this video series and the rest of my content.

In the video above, I walk them through a screen share of this template. This is an example I used when I was putting on a Zoom workshop with educators. Notice how I started with my highest level Bloom’s verbs and then broke it down into two other learning objectives to make sure no matter where my participants in my classroom were at when entering this workshop, I had planned the content to be at the right level for all student while giving the opportunity to move through the levels of learning.
