Here is how to double space your work using Google Docs in two easy steps. Follow these two steps below to change your Google Docs settings to double space.
Important note: if you have already started writing, you need to highlight all of your work before following these steps.
Step 1:
Locate the "formatting toolbar" near the top of your Google Docs window that looks similar to the picture below. Find the "line & spacing" button that has two arrows with lines circled below. Click on it.
Step 2:
A drop-down box will appear with options as pictured below. Choose "Double" or "2.0" for double space.
